Project 365
Okay, folks. I am taking on a scrapping challenge for 2010. I am going to attempt to do a 365 project. That is, I am going to try to take a picture a day for 365 days of 2010. Then, create a page a week to remember what we did during the year. Yikes! Am I crazy? I'm not sure. Maybe. We shall see... anyone know a good forum or somewhere that is hosting a 365 challenge this year?

Oh Santa!
I am highly impressed with myself. We went to go see Santa today, and I already scrapped the photo! Of course, it helps that I had some great stuff to work with!
The journaling says: Scout and Dylan went to see Santa Claus and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Dylan had no problem sitting in the jolly man’s lap. Scout had no problem looking and Santa or saying “Santa” but when it came to sitting in his lap, she quickly changed her mind!
I used "Christmas Spirit" kit by The Latest Scoop, Too. Hey! Didn't realize it was her again. I guess I really like her stuff. :-)
I also used a sketch to base the layout on that was given to me by Angie Bloom at Simply Scrapping
I've been chosen to be a featured artist there this week! How cool is that? As part of the honor, they asked me to create a LO for them based on a sketch, so this is what I came up with.

Song in Your Heart
This is my first layout on Scrappy Cocoa's CT! I was so happy to get these pictures. The girls had a great time singing and dancing and I actually had a camera handy. :-)
This one uses Scrappy Cocoa's "Boy Meets Girl" kit and her template for the December challenge on GS

Scrappy Cocoa CT!
I have been sick today and didn't even go to work... had to get a doctor's note since it was the first work day after a holiday. I won't gross you out with the details, but it has not been a fun day. I finally felt up to checking my email tonight and got one from Steph (aka Scrappy Cocoa) that invited me to be a part of her creative team. I am soooo excited!!! Now if I can get to feeling better, I have lots of pictures that are screaming to be scrapped!

Scout's 10 month page
That's right... one whole year later! She's nearly 22 months now and here I am scrapping her at 10 months. *sniff* Where has the time gone?
Credits: Paper and elements are from the kit "Give Thanks" which was a collaboration by Honey Designs, Lya Design, and Areana's Kreations. This kit is absolutely fabulous! I know I will use it again.
Alpha is "Delight in Fall" by Gettin Scrappy With Britt
Now, I must get her 11 and 12 month pages done before I can do Dylan's 9 month page. (I am allowed to do her 8 month page since she is 8 months today!)

Dylan 7 months
Dylan's 7 month layout - one day before she turns 8 months! I'm trying to keep up with her's. I still haven't finished Scout's. I've got her first 9 months done (and she's only 22 months old. Ha!) I will get her 10-12 months done before I do Dylan's 10-12 month layouts. I have said it, so it will be done.

Eating!
I have two new layouts done about my girls eating. The first is one that I did for a speed scrap on Ginger Scraps
Unfortunately, I can't find the kit that I used to give credits. I was doing the speed scrap and was too tired to document where it came from so I left the window open and went to bed. That night, my computer restarted on it's own. Boo. So, if I used your kit for this, or you know where it came from, please tell me! I want to give proper credit!
ETA: I found the kit! Credits to Heirloom Scraps "A Forgotten Path" kit
The second was done for a game of phone tag on my pregnancy.org scrapbooking forum. If you're here from there, shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone I posted it! lol!

Dylan 2 month
I am loving these number templates - such a fun way to use papers! That's something I have always had trouble with... utilizing all of the cool papers that I have. In fact, for a while I stopped downloading papers and only DLed elements when given the chance. Now I wish I'd kept them all!
Journaling reads: You are at home, loving the swing, and stretching out to look bigger!

Cookie (dough) Monster
Michael made cookies a few weeks ago and let Scout lick the spoon when he was done. She loved it and got a great sugar-high!

One More Shot!
I made another page with the same kit... I am loving this kit! This was a remake of one that I made for Scout last year. Here's the new one:

Journaling: You are such a little ham when the camera comes out. You love to make cute faces and cheese it up for your photographer, Daddy!

Oh the Places You'll Go!
I won this kit from this blog http://grahamlikethecracker.blogspot.com/ I love this kit and there is a lot more of it that I wanted to use, but it didn't work with the layout I was working on. So, I'm sure I'll be using it again soon. In fact, I already have another idea in my head...

Journaling reads: Scout started walking in June, and once she started, there was no stopping her! All summer long, she enjoyed "walk walk walk"ing down the driveway.

Mow!
We've had dogs since before Scout was born, but she has never really been around cats. When we started seeing snake skins and rodent droppings on our property, we decided that some "barn cats" were just what we needed to help with our pest problems. We brought them home and Scout fell in love with them! I love watching her play with them and think it's just so cute, so I decided to take some pictures and create a page about it.
credits: Leaf - 'Bubbly Nature' created by Katherine Nelson(FlutterExpressions)
All other papers/ elements - 'May Mornings' created by Tracie Stroud Designs
Journaling reads: Mow rhymes with cow and it’s what Scout calls cats. Every day she goes to the back window, looks outside, and says, “Mow? Mow?” It is her way of calling the cats. She is so sweet with them and as gentle as can be expected from a toddler. She loves to laugh as they tickle her and play, and we love to hear that laugh!
